Saturday evening I was at a gala. The past week it has been a "women artisans week" here in Niamey. With women from different countries in Africa showing their work at the artisan village. At the end of this week, it was this gala, and I had a ticket! A lot of speeches, but also a fashion show. It was really nice to see. They've made really beautiful things.
